So my gateways licenses got expired in my lab environment which im running on my laptop, so i already took backups and then deleted the gateways and added them again on gns3 and then went through the fist time configs on both and and restored backups on both. After that opened smartconsole and reestablished trust for both gateways, so everything fine till here, now when im trying to install the policies on both it says "too many security gateways in network objects" no idea how to rectify this as i only see one gateway object (one each for Gtwy-A & B) or maybe the error means something else which i cannot understand, hopefully someone can help me here, im pretty sure only a small modification has to be made to correct this error, attaching pic below-

Gateway LB is a type of load balancer, which enables high performance and high availability scenarios for a network virtual appliance (NVA) like a next generation firewall or security gateway. It allows Azure customers to deploy, scale, and manage NVAs quickly and easily. Additionally, it enables transparent NVA insertion in a network path.

Note how the CloudGuard security gateways are required to be deployed in the same VNet as the web server and how the source IP is changed to ensure the traffic will be returned to the same CloudGuard instance that inspected it originally.

Another benefit of the Gateway LB is the simplicity of the cloud architecture. Previously, the security gateways needed to be in the same environment or VNet as the servers. The new capability allows the security gateways to be located in another VNet, thus customers can keep their original architecture without concern for changing their design because all security can be easily moved aside. There is also no need for VNet peering between the VNets.

We are having some troubles with "Checkpoint Security Gateway" Devices. Because there is no suitable Device-Template for those devices i used the Generic.Device combined with a Device Variation to backup the Running Configuration.

Cisco is announcing another important strategic partner to its list of ACI-compliant vendors with the addition of the Check Point Next Generation Security Gateway to the ecosystem. A couple months ago I wrote about the inherent security architecture in ACI (Security for an Application Centric World), and now the Check Point solutions fit right into that framework as an alternative to Cisco security solutions. Essentially, this means that the ACI controller, APIC, can now configure the application network to include the insertion and provisioning of Check Point virtual and physical security gateways as it does other Layer 4-7 application services and security appliances. Deploy each tier of your application in its own virtual cloud network (VCN), which acts as a spoke. The hub VCN contains a Check Point CGNS high availability cluster, Oracle internet gateway, dynamic routing gateway (DRG), Oracle Service Gateway, and local peering gateways (LPGs).

The hub VCN connects to the spoke VCNs through LPGs or by attaching secondary virtual network interface cards (VNIC) to the CGNS gateways. All spoke traffic uses route table rules to route traffic through the LPGs to the hub for inspection by the Check Point CGNS high availability cluster.

The hub VCN is a centralized network where Check Point CloudGuard NSGs are deployed. It provides secure connectivity to all spoke VCNs, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services, public endpoints and clients, and on-premises data center networks.

To set up the gateway and security management, select Security Gateway and Security Management, respectively. In the case of both, select Security Gateway and Security Management and click Next.

Gateway logs are sent to the Security Management server, by default. The gateways can be configured to send logs directly to Syslog servers. First, define the Syslog servers and then update the logging properties of the gateways. e24fc04721
