Gtx 1660 Super
The GTX 1660 Super is priced at around £220 in the UK and around $240 in the US. If you are looking for around 100FPS Ultra settings at 1080p in most games this is the graphics card for you. The GTX 1660 Super can manage 1440p High settings in some games. Comparing the GTX 1660 Super with the GTX 1660 Ti shows that the GTX 1660 Ti is 2% better but around £50/$60 more expensive, Proving that the GTX 1660 Super is the one to choose. I have a GTX 1660 Super in my PC and when I am gaming and streaming the experience is smooth.
RTX 3070/3080
The RTX 3070 and RTX 3080 are new high end Graphics cards released by Nvidia. If you want amazing performance in every game then one of these Graphics cards are for you. the 3070 offers performance similar to an RTX 2080Ti but costs less than half at $500/£500. The RTX 3080 costs $699 with similar performance to the Titan RTX. Both these Graphics cards can play games at 4K with maxed out settings and still have high FPS. They have Raytracing and DLSS 2.0 which RTX 2000 series GPU's also have. The only reason why I'm still recommending older generation GPU's is because the RTX 3000 series are all out of stock and when they are in stock, they are hundreds or even thousands of dollars/pounds above what they should be selling for
Rtx 2060
The RTX 2060 is priced at $310/£299. I want to recommend an RX 5700 but the RTX 2060 offers the same performance at the same price except the RTX 2060 has Raytracing and DLSS2.0 which is the reason I am recommending the RTX 2060. Ray-Tracing is where the Graphics processor traces the rays of light to make light look very realistic, something that the RX 5700 can't do. The RTX 2060 is perfect for 144 FPS Ultra settings at 1080p or 60+ FPS at 1440P Ultra settings.
RX 570
The RX 570 costs about £140/$145. For this Price you should be able to play all modern Games at a minimum of medium settings at 1080p for a 60FPS experience. For most games however, this Graphics card will allow you to turn up all the settings to high and reach 60FPS (1080p). The Graphics card comes with 8GB of VRAM which means that higher resolutions and better textures are possible. The RX 570 is about 35% better than the GTX 1050ti while costing the same price. I think of this Graphics card as a really good option for people on a budget or for people who are getting into PC gaming.
The problem with High end Graphics cards are that AMD have none that can compete with NVIDIA (the two main producers of Graphics cards). This means Nvidia has a monopoly on the high end Graphics Cards. So you will see Graphics cards like the RTX 2080 Super which are over 3 times the cost of the GTX 1660 Super while being just under twice the performance. This is the reason why I don't like to recommend very high end Graphics Cards.
If you are looking for the best Graphics card on the market right now for Gaming I would recommend the RTX 2080 super. The 2080 super is about 40% worse than the RTX Titan but the Titan costs about 4 times the cost of the RTX 2080 Super. Both Graphics cards can run games at 4K, Max settings at 60 FPS.
The Titan RTX is the best Graphics Card for gaming but very expensive. I would recommend for video editing and complex rendering as the Titan RTX has 24GB of VRAM.
The RTX 2080 Super is very good for people who want the best Gaming experience without spending over £1,000/$1,100 on a Graphics card. Another option is to wait for the upcoming RTX 3000 series and AMD's Ryzen 4000 series.
