Whether you're juggling craft projects, chasing kids, or just got in from a long afternoon in the garden, this recipe is the kind of no-fuss veggie win we all need. It’s fast, healthy, and full of savory flavor—perfect for beginners and seasoned cooks alike.
Ingredients:
Any color cabbage, chopped
1 tablespoon of any flavor Better Than Bouillon
1 cup of water
2 tablespoons of Nutritional Yeast
Chop your cabbage into bite-sized pieces and place it into the inner pot of your Instant Pot.
Make your broth by mixing 1 tablespoon of Better Than Bouillon into 1 cup of water.
Pour the broth over the cabbage in the pot.
Add the nutritional yeast to the mixture.
Give everything a stir to combine well.
Secure the lid on your Instant Pot and make sure the valve is set to "Sealing."
Set the Instant Pot to Pressure Cook on high for 2 minutes.
Quick release the pressure as soon as the timer beeps.
Open the lid carefully, give it another gentle stir, and enjoy!
That’s it—just a handful of ingredients and less than 10 minutes from start to finish. The result is a savory, satisfying, dairy-free side dish that’s comforting enough for any night of the week.

Cookbooks are an incredible resource as you learn and grow in the kitchen. I’ve written two that you can check out and use on your journey! You can also borrow cookbooks for free from your local library, or find affordable copies at Goodwill, thrift stores, yard sales, and even online. Many are available at no cost on Kindle and Audible, too. Whether you're a beginner or looking to try something new, cookbooks offer guidance, inspiration, and in the kitchen.
