ChatUp is committed to providing a safe environment for all users, especially minors. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), grooming, or any behavior that may place a minor at risk.
This Policy outlines how ChatUp protects minors, what content and conduct are prohibited, how users can report concerns, and how ChatUp cooperates with law enforcement and international child-protection organizations.
ChatUp is intended for adults aged 18 and above, and we do not knowingly allow minors to access or use our services. If we discover that an account is being used by a person under 18, we will suspend or terminate the account and may take additional steps to ensure safety.
We strictly prohibit any content or behavior that involves, depicts, suggests, or sexualizes minors in any form.
This includes:
• CSAM/CSAE of any kind
• Grooming or attempts to establish inappropriate relationships with minors
• Sexualized comments, fantasies, or interactions involving minors
• AI-generated or fictional material depicting minors in sexual contexts
• Sharing, requesting, or attempting to obtain any sexual content involving minors
• Any behavior that could be reasonably interpreted as facilitating child exploitation
Violations result in immediate account termination and will be reported to relevant authorities.
You may not, under any circumstances:
• Upload, share, request, or store any material involving sexualized minors
• Encourage or normalize harmful behavior toward minors
• Pretend to be a minor for sexual purposes
• Impersonate a minor or attempt to lure minors
• Engage in grooming behaviors
• Share minors’ personal data without lawful consent
• Use ChatUp in a manner that endangers or exploits minors
Content involving minors in non-sexual contexts may still be removed if it raises safety concerns.
ChatUp uses a combination of automated tools, trained moderators, and user reports to detect and address potential CSAE violations. Actions we may take include:
• Immediate removal of content
• Temporary or permanent account suspension
• Device or IP blocking
• Preservation of relevant data
• Reporting to law enforcement or child-protection agencies
Where legally required, we will cooperate fully with investigations into suspected exploitation.
Users may flag content or behavior that appears harmful to minors through ChatUp’s reporting tools. Reports are reviewed by trained moderators, and urgent matters are handled as quickly as possible.

We may preserve and disclose account information, including user identifiers and relevant content, to law enforcement when legally required or when necessary to protect minors.
We may also retain information for a limited period after account termination for the purpose of supporting investigations involving CSAE.
If content is removed due to child-safety concerns, users may have limited opportunities to request review unless prohibited by law. Safety-critical decisions are not reversible.
