Chato Glamping is located in La Fortuna of San Carlos, Costa Rica at the east flank of the Arenal Volcano, and additionally, we are also at the foothill of Chato Volcano (extinct volcano) so-called  "Sleeping Indian" by locals. 

The Arenal Volcano erupted in 1968 producing one of the country's biggest natural disasters as time passed people started to come to La Fortuna to see the lava flows coming out of the Arenal Volcano these eruptions stopped in 2010, that's a short story that tells us how tourism started in La Fortuna and give one of the reasons to comprehend why people come here, another big reason to come is also it's rich biodiversity of flora and fauna, and of course, we have to mention the volcanic hot springs with healing qualities making it one of the best spots in Costa Rica for nature lovers seeking for tranquility, peace of mind, and wellness.

 Our location is strategic because it is close enough to all the beautiful attractions in the La Fortuna area but far enough to provide you with a peaceful atmosphere that enhances wellness and mindfulness by connecting with Mother Nature.
