The Chatham Basketball Camp offers instruction for all skill levels and ages. Our goal is to promote and teach the game of basketball in Kent County to as many young athletes as possible.
Groups will be made based on age and skill. 2026 will be the 13th year of the "High School Aspiration" group for the athletes entering grade 7-9 who have aspirations of playing high school basketball. These athletes will be challenges with higher level skills and team play to prepare for the high school level game.
The Chatham Basketball Camp also offers an introductory program for those athletes entering grade 1-2. Younger campers will have the opportunity to use lower nets and learn introductory games that improve movement, balance and basic basketball skills.
The annual camp features some of Chatham Kent's finest coaches, university and high school players. They will help your child learn teamwork and the rules of the game. Also your child will experience a competitive atmosphere while improving their skill levels. Recent councillors include many present and past OUA, OCAA, and NCAA players. Camp will include daily instruction, a water bottle, games, competitions, free giveaways, theme days, and snacks.
