These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and EDIFITION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, a company registered in India ("Chat Lover", "we", "us", or "our").

These Terms govern your use of the Chat Lover Android application and Chat Lover keyboard (together, the "Service").
By signing in to or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
The chatlover.app website and its chat-analysis tool are separate services and may have separate terms and privacy policies.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Chat Lover.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you.
You must not be prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law.
You need a Google account to sign in. Phone-number sign-in may also be offered depending on the version of the Service.
By using Chat Lover, you confirm that you satisfy these requirements.
Chat Lover is an Android keyboard and application that provides AI-generated reply suggestions for messages that you voluntarily provide.
The Service generally works as follows:
You copy or type a message into the Chat Lover AI panel.
You may choose a reply style, such as Romantic, Flirty, Funny or Savage.
You may choose the language, reply length and emoji level.
You request AI-generated replies.
Chat Lover provides suggested replies.
You choose a suggestion and may place it into your text box.
You decide whether to edit the suggestion and whether to send it.
Chat Lover does not automatically send messages on your behalf.
The keyboard can also be used as a normal keyboard for everyday typing.
AI replies are optional and can be disabled at any time through the applicable privacy settings in the app.
Chat Lover is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp, Instagram, Meta, Telegram, Snapchat or any other messaging service. All third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Google account or phone number used to access Chat Lover.
You are responsible for activity performed through your Chat Lover account to the extent permitted by applicable law.

You may sign out of the keyboard or delete your Chat Lover account and associated data at any time.
Account deletion can be performed directly inside the app:

or, depending on the version of the application:

Chat Lover is currently available free of charge.
Each account may generate a limited number of AI replies per day. The current limit is 20 AI replies per day, as shown in the application.
The daily limit may reset at midnight India Standard Time (IST), unless otherwise stated in the application.
A message submitted to the AI reply feature may be subject to a maximum length of 1,000 characters.

to maintain service reliability, security and fair usage.
If a change materially affects the Service, we may provide notice through the application where appropriate.
There are currently no in-app purchases or subscriptions for Chat Lover.
If paid plans, subscriptions or other paid features are introduced in the future, we will update these Terms and provide relevant information before purchase, including where applicable:

Purchases made through Google Play will be subject to the applicable Google Play terms and policies.
Chat Lover uses artificial intelligence, including Google Gemini through Google Cloud Vertex AI, to generate reply suggestions.
AI-generated suggestions may be:
Inaccurate
Incomplete
Inappropriate
Offensive
Out of context
Unexpected
Different from what you intended
AI-generated suggestions do not necessarily represent the views or opinions of EDIFITION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED.
You are solely responsible for any AI-generated reply that you choose to:

Edit
Send
Publish
Share
You should review every AI-generated suggestion before sending or sharing it.
Do not rely on Chat Lover's AI suggestions as professional advice, including:
Medical advice
Legal advice
Financial advice
Safety advice
Mental health advice
Other professional advice
If an AI-generated suggestion appears incorrect, harmful or inappropriate, you can use the report/flag functionality available in the application where provided.
Reported content may be reviewed for safety, abuse prevention and service improvement.
You agree not to use Chat Lover to:
Request, generate or facilitate sexual, obscene, pornographic or vulgar content, including sexting, sexual propositions or requests for explicit material.
Involve, target or exploit anyone under 18 in a romantic or sexual manner.
Harass, bully, threaten, stalk, intimidate, blackmail or abuse another person.
Promote violence, self-harm, terrorism, hatred or other harmful activities.
Deceive, manipulate, coerce or defraud another person, including romance scams, catfishing or impersonation.
Create or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, invasive of privacy or infringing another person's intellectual property or other legal rights.
Violate any applicable law, including applicable Indian laws and regulations.
Copy, resell, scrape, reproduce or commercially exploit the Service or its output in bulk without our permission.
Use the Service to build a competing product or service using unauthorized access to our systems or outputs.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying technology of the Service except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Interfere with, overload, attack or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
Attempt to bypass usage limits, authentication, security systems or safety filters.
Use automated methods, bots or scripts to abuse the Service.
Attempt to manipulate or bypass AI safety systems, including attempts to make the AI ignore its applicable instructions or safeguards.
Use the Service in any manner that could reasonably harm Chat Lover, its users, third parties or its infrastructure.
We may refuse requests, restrict functionality, suspend accounts or terminate access where we reasonably believe that the Service is being misused or these Terms are being violated.
Where permitted by law, such action may be taken with or without prior notice.
You retain whatever rights you have in messages and other content that you voluntarily provide to Chat Lover.
You grant us a limited permission to process content that you submit to the Service only as necessary to:
Generate the AI reply suggestions you request.
Operate the Service.
Maintain security.
Prevent abuse.
Provide safety and moderation functions.
Our processing of personal data is further described in our Privacy Policy.
We do not intentionally use messages submitted to Chat Lover to train our own AI models.
We do not intentionally maintain a permanent database of messages submitted for AI reply generation.
You represent that you have the right to submit content that you provide to Chat Lover and that your use of such content does not violate applicable law or another person's rights.
When you voluntarily report an AI-generated reply, you permit us to retain and process the reported reply, your selected reason and any optional note you provide for purposes including:
Safety review
Abuse prevention
Policy enforcement
Product improvement
Reported content may be retained after account deletion where reasonably necessary for these purposes.
The Chat Lover name, logo, application, keyboard, software, design, user interface, features and other Service content, excluding content belonging to users or third parties, belong to EDIFITION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED or its licensors.
These materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, intellectual property and other applicable laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use Chat Lover on devices that you own or control for your personal, non-commercial use.
This license does not give you ownership of Chat Lover or its underlying technology.
All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
Our collection and processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
In summary:
We do not intentionally record ordinary keystrokes.
We do not intentionally read your existing conversations or chat history.
We do not intentionally store messages that you submit for AI replies in our permanent database.
We do not sell your personal data.
AI processing occurs when you explicitly request an AI-generated reply.
You can disable AI replies.
You can disable optional analytics.
You can delete your account directly from the app.

Uninstalling Chat Lover from your device does not by itself delete your Chat Lover account.
To delete your account, use the in-app account deletion feature or submit an account deletion request through the methods described above.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Chat Lover if:
You materially violate these Terms.
Your use creates a security or safety risk.
You abuse or attempt to circumvent Service limits.
We are required to do so by law.
Termination is reasonably necessary to protect users or the Service.
We discontinue the Service.
Where reasonably possible and permitted by law, we may provide notice before termination.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee that:
The Service will always be available.
The Service will be uninterrupted.
The Service will be completely error-free.
AI suggestions will always be accurate.
AI suggestions will always be appropriate for your particular situation.
The Service will work with every device.
The keyboard will work with every application or messaging platform.
AI-generated content will always reflect your intended meaning.
You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before using or sending it.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
EDIFITION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses arising from your use of the Service.
We are not responsible for messages that you choose to send using AI-generated suggestions or for how other people respond to those messages.
We are not responsible for losses relating to relationships, reputation, opportunities, profits or other personal or commercial consequences resulting from content generated or used through the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will be limited to the amount you paid us for the Service during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Because Chat Lover is currently provided free of charge, this amount is currently ₹0, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless EDIFITION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, its officers, employees, contractors and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs arising from:
Your violation of these Terms.
Your unlawful use of the Service.
Content that you submit through the Service.
Your violation of another person's rights.
Your violation of applicable law.
This section does not apply to the extent that the claim results from our own unlawful conduct or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
We may update these Terms when:
The Service changes.
New features are introduced.
Our business practices change.
Applicable law changes.
Security or operational requirements change.
We will publish the updated Terms and update the effective date.
If a change is material, we may provide additional notice through the application where appropriate.
If you continue using Chat Lover after updated Terms become effective, your continued use means you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If you do not agree with updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
If you have a complaint or dispute relating to Chat Lover, please contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.

Subject to applicable consumer protection rights and other mandatory legal provisions, courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising any mandatory rights available to you under applicable consumer protection or data protection laws.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
If we do not immediately enforce a provision or right under these Terms, that does not mean we waive that right.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent, except where permitted by applicable law.
We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the agreement between you and us concerning your use of the Chat Lover Service, except for additional terms that may apply to particular features.

We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days, subject to the nature of the complaint and applicable law.
