Flower Safari Website - (Project 2)
The website functions as a delivery service where clients may order flowers and have them delivered right to their homes. Although this site will eventually be modified to become a mobile website that can be visited on both tablets and phones, its primary goal is to give customers a quick and simple way to order flowers while also catering to those who prefer using a computer.
Role: Lead Researcher and Designer - (I was assigned this project prompt to complete; not intended to be an official product.)
It will fall to me to explore potential consumer interactions and develop a few concept sketches for my product. At this stage, I'll start thinking about things like the general design of my website, the navigation, and specific elements to apply on each page. Customers of Flower Safari say they are happy with the way their orders are placed and think the website is a useful and easy-to-use resource.
Process of Designing the Website
Paper Wireframes
These are early models of what my final product will like once its completed. The main page will provide a list of flower options, the second being the pricing of the selected item, and lastly payment along with the delivery date.
Sequential Model Sitemap
Created a website hierarchy diagram that demonstrates how each page is ordered, connected, and labelled.
Digital Wireframes
Having decided what I wanted to employ for my final design, I was able to quickly and easily construct a low-fidelity prototype app for potential consumers. The early testers' feedback, who desired a simple and quick buying procedure, greatly impacted my design selections. This prompted me to employ a simple, 4-6 step ordering process devoid of any unnecessary processes that can annoy or disappoint the customer.
