Special Olympics Event Coordinator and Volunteer

I was able to work side by side with my dad in both of these experiencial learning practices. With landscaping I have been a part of the crew since twelve years old learning work ethic and social skills on how to help customers. At the Special Olympics I refereed basketball this winter to ensure there was a fair game for the children to have fun. In the spring I ran the 50 meter dash in the track and field Special Olympics. Once again, the special education children had an outlet to express themselves and have fun equally together.
