Temperatures are usually in the mid-60s°F (18-20°C) during the day and in the 50s°F (10-15°C) in the evening. Information regarding weather can be found here as the conference gets closer. Likely recommend to bring a light jacket.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be served in the Crocker Dining Hall, which has specific hours. Information from the website for food includes.

Breakfast  7:30 AM – 9:00 AM

• A protein option and a whole-grain vegetarian option are always offered.

• Breakfast also includes local seasonal fruit, juice with no added sugar and coffee and tea. 

Lunch  12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

• We offer two entrée options to include an entrée salad or a hot entrée with a complimentary seasonal vegetable.

• Vegetarian or vegan options are available on request.

• Lunch is served with a seasonal soup made from local ingredients - as well as a seasonal, house made dessert.

• Beverage selections include iced tea, coffee, decaffeinated coffee or brewed hot tea. 

Dinner   6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

• We offer two entrée options featuring fresh local fish or protein freshly prepared seasonal vegetables.

• Vegetarian or vegan options are available on request.

• Dinner is served with a seasonal locally grown salad - as well as a seasonal, house-made dessert,

• Beverage selections include iced tea, coffee, decaffeinated coffee or brewed hot tea

To make this conference broadly accessible we are fully covering the costs of housing and meals for all participants.  These will be included in the conference fee of $500 USD.  Funding dependent we will also provide targeted travel grants to further offset costs for select participants. Please express travel assistance in the RSVP form.

We will make conference talk & poster announcements after registration is closed and complete, in first half of June. We have space for 28 contributed talks and preference for talks will be for early-career researchers. In the event we don't have enough rooms for talks, you will have an option to bring and present a poster during the evening poster session.

Invited talks are 25 mins + 3 minutes for questions. Contributed talks are 12 minutes + 3 minutes for questions.
