Charmain is an illustrator, designer, and aspiring architect based in Toronto. Coming from a combined background in architectural design, illustration client work, and experience working with diverse communities in educational and non-profit settings, she sees the arts and design as powerful tools for community-building. She is most interested in stories of belonging, identity, memory, longevity, the diasporic experience, and hope - especially as they relate to place and space. She loves storytelling of all kinds.
