Charlton Gomes

Growing up in a musically inclined family, Charlton has tried out playing different musical instruments. He learned how to DJ and emcee when his parents bought over a bar in 2002. After being introduced to Hardstyle when the shuffle scene came to his hometown (Kota Kinabalu) in 2007, he bought his first DJ controller and started playing private events while diving deeper into the art of DJ-ing and experimenting with other genres like R&B, Hip-Hop, Electro, etc.

Fast forward to present day, he is now under the management of DLive Studio (since 2021), one of KK's leading DJ studio and has been appointed as the official host of DLive's Official Podcast.

He also produces his very own music and released his first official Drum & Bass single "Kick Off" in 2022.

As a musician, Charlton loves the creative flow and improvisation of playing instruments. Treating DJ decks as an instrument, he mixes with a wide arsenal of styles and techniques. Although he prefers heavy tunes/bangers that make people jump and dance, on occasion he can play moderate vibes for a more relaxed mood. He has an amazing collection of his favourite genres such as Drum & Bass, Dubstep, House and many more. He will definitely light up any party!
