What happens in case there's inclement weather?  

The weather is going to be perfect! 

But in the event of forecasted rain, a go/no go decision will be made the morning of each event. Check back to this site, other social media, and the Town of Charlton website (www.townofcharlton.org) in case you have doubts about whether events are being held. 

To sign up for town emails, go to the Town website and click to subscribe.

There is no rain date, but if the event must be cancelled due to inclement weather, the fireworks will be rescheduled.

Will there be alcohol available for purchase at Party in the Park?
No.

Where do we park to attend Party in the Park? Will there be handicap accessible parking? 

Please consult the map and parking instructions on the Schedule page. There will be handicap accessible parking available. Local residents are encouraged to walk, where feasible. Please respect our neighbors who live in close proximity to Elmer Smith Park, and park your vehicles only where volunteers direct you to do so. 

Will there be bathrooms at the Party in the Park? 

Yes, we will have several Port-a-Pottys available. 

Can I donate to help support this event? 

Yes! The weekend events are almost entirely funded by generous contributions from our citizens and local businesses. We gratefully accept checks, made out to the Town of Charlton. 

You can mail or drop it off to the Town at 758 Charlton Road, Charlton. Any amount is appreciated, and donor names will be displayed on a Thank You board at the Party in the Park.
