Charlotte Uhlemann
researching therapist - PhD student
University of Osnabrück
It has always been my dream to bridge theory with practice. Now I'm doing just that, with one foot in research and the other in speech and language therapy.
I am deeply fascinated by children's language acquisition. Alongside my PhD studies supervised by Prof. Dr. Nicole Gotzner as part of her SPA Lab at the University of Osnabrück, I work as a patholinguist, specializing in supporting children with speech, language, swallowing, and fluency disorders.
11/2025: I took part in a science slam where I presented my work on gradable adjectives 🌈
12/2025: My submission was accepted and I’ll be giving a talk titled Children’s Processing of Gradable Adjectives: Evidence from Eye-Tracking at the STaPs conference in March 2026 🎊
