Dual enrollment is a program that allows high school students to take college-level courses and earn credits toward both their high school diploma and a postsecondary degree at the same time. It is also known as concurrent enrollment. Participation in dual enrollment allows students to earn high school and college credit simultaneously, decreasing students’ time to complete a college degree and saving them tuition costs.
