Masquerading as your typical saccharine-sweet bishōjo title (effectively the male equivalent to the previously discussed otome games), Doki Doki Literature Club follows all of the usual tropes in its early stages. The dialogue boxes are awash in pink, the discussions amongst your classmates are all innocuous and light. As you progress however, things begin to turn sinister, culminating in some particularly grim fates for the characters.
The game then begins to mess with your head, deleting save files and forcing you to consider the consequences of your actions. It’s a harrowing experience that makes you question what you were ever doing to begin with.

Charlize Theron is in love with herself.
The South African actress revealed on Diane von Furstenberg’s “InCharge with DVF” podcast on Thursday that her daughter August wants her to get a boyfriend.
Theron, 44, however, said she’s happily in a relationship with herself.
“Two days ago I was in the car with my two girls and my little one said something like ‘You need a boyfriend!'” she revealed.
Theron continued: “And I said, ‘Actually, I don’t. Right now, I feel really good,’ and she’s like, ‘You know what, mom? You just need a boyfriend, you need a relationship!'”
The “Mad Max” actress is a mother to two adopted daughters: Jackson, 8, and August, 5.
Theron then told August she was dating herself.
“She had this look in her eye like she had never really contemplated that that was even a possibility,” she said. “Her mind was blown. But, I know that was the day that she realized there’s a different possibility.”

Earlier this month, she said on E!’s Daily Pop that she isn’t trying to date right now.
“I don't feel like I'm missing out on something in my life, it's just not something that I'm looking out for right now,” the “Atomic Blonde” actress declared.
She also previously said in an interview on “The Howard Stern Show” that her two daughters are the “great loves of [her] life” and she therefore has “never been lonely.”

“I didn’t know I was going to be the mom to an African-American trans girl. All of these things have kind of made me more aware of how little I know,” the Academy Award winner admitted.
Theron added: "My children have completely reopened my eyes to the world and I jokingly always say I’m back at university. I’m back having to learn every single day because they challenge me in that way.”

Theron worked with Seth MacFarlane on the film A Million Ways to Die in the West . He later said that he had one of the best experiences of his life working with her on set, and the two became fast friends. [1]

"I had worked with her on the western that I did [ A Million Ways to Die in the West ], and I had one of the best experiences of my life. Even when you’re one of the most beautiful women in the world, dating can be rough. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Thursday, Charlize Theron revealed that she’s been single for the better part of a decade, but still struggles to find men with the confidence to ask her out.
Theron, who was promoting her new romantic comedy Long Shot along with co-star Seth Rogen, said that one reason she remains unattached is that she expects potential dating prospects to make the first move—and not many guys are willing.
"I've been single for ten years—it's not a long shot," she said. "Somebody just needs to grow a pair and step up. I'm shockingly available. I've made it very clear." Fittingly, Theron's new movie Long Shot is about a journalist-turned-speechwriter (Rogen) falling for a Presidential candidate (Theron), who also happens to be his childhood babysitter.
Theron's claim that she's been available for the better part of a decade, however, isn't entirely true. Notably, she started dating Sean Penn in 2013, and was briefly engaged to the actor before the couple called things off in 2015.
