With an interdisciplinary background in the physical and social sciences, I have conducted research in a wide-range of topics. During my undergraduate at California State University: Monterey Bay, I both assessed the presence of Steelhead Trout spawning gravel in the Carmel River following the removal of the San Clemente Dam, and evaluated the distribution and degree of bioarcheological victim preservation in Pompeii in relation to the type of present volcanic deposits under the guidance of Dr. Rubén Mendoza.
During my post-baccalaureate at Western Washington University, I researched the petrophysics and paleomagnetism of the Nodule Point mafic intrusion in the Pacific Northwest Paleomagnetism Lab under Dr. Cristina García-Lasanta. As a graduate student at the University of Wyoming, I am working with Dr. Bradley Carr to evaluate sandstone-hosted uranium deposits using ground-based geophysical surveys. Following graduation, I am excited to explore the environmental, engineering, and exploration sectors.
