Charles Wilson Trucking Inc. was founded in 1982 in Douglas, GA, as Wilson Trucking Co., with a fleet of only a few trucks by Charles Wilson Sr. Chuck Wilson, his son, took over operations in 1993 at age twenty-two. Under Chuck's guidance, the company has flourished. In 2020, Charles Wilson Trucking Inc., the freight brokerage, was established. With the help of Caroline Wilson, Chuck’s daughter, who became involved in operations in 2022 at the age of twenty-one, both sides of our humble company were united under one parent corporation, Charles Wilson Trucking Inc.. Today, we are proud to dispatch a continuously growing team of a varying 30 trucks with carrier-based assets and brokerage capabilities.
