Events and Activities

In addition to the activities listed below, we also provide each 6th grade student with a student planner to keep track of their homework,  fulfill teacher & staff  "Wishlists" , School Dances, End of year parties etc!

Events that need volunteers will have separate Sign Up Genius's created.

PTO Membership Drive - 

At the start of each school year the PTO asks every family to become a member of the PTO. Your membership helps fund the operations budget enabling us to provide the activities below.  PTO members can attends PTO meetings linked here and vote on PTO matters.  There are 5 meetings scheduled.  Teachers and administration attend, and Mr. Bloom gives a presentation related to school events at that time.

Craft Show

November 4th-  The Charles Boehm Craft Show (PTO Fall Fundraiser) supports the students and faculty by fulfilling technology initiatives, funding student activities, teacher wish lists and community service hours for students. In addition to helping the school we are helping small independently owned businesses (the crafters). This event touches so many in our community. Please volunteer and/or attend this event, thank you.

Hospitality- Kavita Helsel/Carrie Minelli

The PTO provides refreshments at various school functions as well as a Back to School Luncheon for all the faculty and staff. Our Hospitality Chair also makes sure every staff member at Charles Boehm gets "appreciated"!

 8th Grade Finale - A committee of 8th Grade Parents to be chaired by PTO Dance Committee Head

A special evening just for the 8th graders.  There is music, food, games, and spectacular decorations donated from the "Best Prom in America" the PHS Senior Prom!!!

6th Grade Ice Cream Social  (Fall) -  

At the beginning of October, the 6th graders are gathered together in the cafeteria  to socialize together as a group then take the late bus home.

 Spirit Wear (Fall, September & Spring, March) 

What better way to show school spirit, than to buy spirit wear? Go Falcons!!!

Dance/Fun Nights - Erica Morris

Charles Boehm hosts dances through out the school year.. There is dancing in the gym as well as ping pong and food in the cafeteria.  The kids always have a great time.The PTO sells pizza, water, soda and snacks to the students. 

Please sign up to help sell concessions during the dances.

Magazine Drive (October-assist with School Fundraiser) -

Volunteers tally and count magazine and cookie dough sales.

Scholastic Book Fair (Fall, September 23-27 , Spring TBD)- Erica Morris

Facilitate the sale of books during the Book Fair.  We also collect donations for  the All for Books program.

Teacher Appreciation Week (May)- Julie McGoldrick

Field Day (TBD ) -Laura Iacona

The PTO volunteers man the water stations as well as provide ice, cups, and ice pops during lunch.

Honor Roll Certificates (ongoing) - 

Every student who make honor roll receives a certificate to redeem for a snack in the cafeteria.

Birthday Certificates (ongoing) - 

Every student receives a coupon to redeem for a snack in the cafeteria as a birthday gift.

Box Tops- (Fall and Spring Contests) - 

We also collect Box Tops, one homeroom from each grade that hands in the most Box Tops will the winner and receive special treat.

PSSA Snacks -

We are very proud to be able to supply each student with something to eat and a water bottle to get them through the day!
