History

Since our rookie year in 2016, we have participated in competitions. We qualified for the state competition during Rover Ruckus, and have won the Design Award 2nd Place (Skystone) and Innovate Award 3rd Place (CenterStage).

We participated in seasons Res-Q, Velocity Vortex, Relic Recovery, Rover Ruckus, Skystone, Freight Frenzy, PowerPlay, and CenterStage. (We did not attend Ultimate Goal due to COVID.)

Originally a high-school team, ChargerBots was converted to a middle school team in 2022, and the high-schoolers moved to CA's FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team.

Our Sister Team

There is another FTC team from Cary Academy, Q (FTC #5270). It has been competing since 2011. Q is also a middle-school team that works alongside us, and the teams consult each other for help. However, 5270 did not participate in the CenterStage season.
