Bustin' Bridges

We were learning about bridges, both metaphorical and physical. The supports that are needed for a good design and how, in life, we have metaphorical bridges that help us cross difficult times in our lives. We looked at homelessness and the role that shelters and support groups take in bridging people from housing insecurity to security.

In engineering we learned what actual bridges needed to be strong and able to carry people, goods and traffic from one side to another safely.

Students then came to campus, for the very first time, to destroy their bridges!
