Hello, I am Chaplain Jason Hines.
I began my lay chaplaincy with Sawmills Volunteer Fire & Rescue in 2011.
In 2016, I received Public Safety Chaplain endorsement from the North American Mission Board with the Southern Baptist State Convention.
In 2017, I received my Chaplain Ordination from Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
In 2017, my ministry expanded to Caldwell County Sheriff's Department and Lenoir Fire Department.
In 2024, my ministry began to include Hickory Fire Department.
In 2024, I was elected to serve as the Chaplain for the Caldwell Fire Association.
I have participated in supporting courses such as: Chaplain 101, Mental Health First Aid USA (National Council of Behavioral Health), Essentials of Fire Chaplaincy (FD Chaplain Services/Federation of Fire Chaplains), Preventive & Maintenance of Aggressive Behavior.
Although, I serve as a Christian Chaplain, I believe in serving the needs of all my brothers/sisters on their level of faith and spirituality.
