Joint CMU-Pitt Directed Reading Program

The Directed Reading Program (DRP) is a student mentorship initiative jointly run by the math departments at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. It pairs undergraduates with graduate student mentors to explore advanced mathematical topics through weekly meetings and independent reading over the course of a semester.

Summer Engineering Academy

(SEA)

The Summer Engineering Academy (SEA) program enables scholars to make a smooth transition from high school to college. During SEA, scholars learn study skills essential for college and receive an intensive review of Chemistry, Calculus, Physics, Engineering, and Leadership skills. By attending this program, students can prepare for success during the first year of college.
