I am a development economist with a PhD in Development Economics from the Université Clermont Auvergne and the Laboratoire d'Économie d'Orléans (LEO), completed in May 2026. My work combines academic research with policy-oriented consulting, with experience at the World Bank's Sahel Adaptive Social Protection Program, the Poverty, Inequality and Human Development team in the Development Research Group (DECRG), the Africa Region Chief Economist Office, and the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP).

My research focuses on the intersection of development, climate, and energy economics, examining how public policy, economic shocks, and income shape the welfare and decision-making of households and firms. More broadly, I am interested in evidence-based policymaking, poverty reduction, climate resilience, sustainable development, and the use of rigorous empirical analysis to inform public policy in low- and middle-income countries.

 I hold an MSc in Development Economics from CERDI, Université Clermont Auvergne,  a Master's degree in International Economics from the Université de Bordeaux, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nairobi.
