I am an assistant professor in the Agricultural and Applied Economics Department at Virginia Tech.

My research centers around Applied Microeconomics in the areas of labor, education, health, and economics of disparties. My research program broadly focuses on disparities in the labor market (e.g., employment and wages), education, and health by gender, race, or disadvantaged individuals. I am also interested in tools and mechanisms that can strengthen educational attainment within the region and internationally.
