My name is Changxin Ke, pronounced as [tʂʰɑŋɕin, kʰɤ]. I'm a third-year PhD student of linguistics at The University of Manchester, supervised by Dr. Martina Faller and Prof. Andrew Koontz-Garboden. I'm currently a visiting student at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, with the supervision of Prof. Louise McNally.
I'm financially sponsored by AHRC, NWCDTP and The University of Manchester. I got my BA degree in Chinese Languages and Literatures at the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and my MA in Linguistics at The University of Manchester.
My research interests are formal semantics and Mandarin study. Specially, I'm working on the semantics of Mandarin decomposition adverbs, such as chóngxīn 'again'.
I also work as a teaching assistant at The University of Manchester.
