Our Project

Rehabilitation of Disabled Person Project:

Numbers of men and women carry relentless life through very much hardship for want of support. They are living their measurable inhuman life as a burden on others. The purpose of this project is to provide support to build their livelihood capacity and living standard. Change Foundation Bangladesh is playing a facilitator role in rehabilitation of disable person through providing skill development training, logistical and financial support.

As a part of the mission Change Foundation has been providing educational expenditure to disabled students, sometimes providing all medical expenditure and facilities to the disabled sick person who has a chance to become a normal human being by getting treatment.

At the right a disabled girl named Hafiza Akter d/o Md. Hafiz Uddin of Kalam Nazarpur, Shingra, Natore is being treated at BURN unit in DMCH under the facilities given by CF.

Free computer training Programme

The children attending the school also receive computer along with other vocational training on life skills which will give them the best possible chances in life. The school is being linked with different support organization to help develop some of its basic infrastructure.

More than 70 students are being provided computer training at Change Foundation Computer Training Center. Beside this CF is also providing the youths other livelihood training so that they can employ themselves in various ways for the sake of their better life.

Change foundation established a library where community of all ages can read newspaper, watching TV as well as share their positive constructive idea to build their society.

Students Scholarship Program:

Education is a release and an opening. It releases an individual from the cycle of poverty, and dependence, opening up a world of empowerment for the future.

we believe the only way to break the cycle of poverty is to give people the opportunity to educate themselves and work their own way to independence and success. The aim of this project is to encourage poor students to achieve their education.

Under this project Change Foundation Bangladesh provides tuition fees and other material support to extremely poor and meritorious disabled students. There will be a continuous monitoring and evaluation of the progress of each Sponsored Student. CF Bangladesh maintains a very close contact with schools to check examination results and discuss the progress of the students with their teachers.

Under this program CFB provides children with uniform, books, and no administration and tuition fees facilities. After graduating from high school students have a much greater chance of sustainable employment as well as the opportunity to attend university, breaking the cycle of poverty. To increase support for the most marginalized families in the community to schooling their children, CFB run a scholarship program. This program allows people the opportunity to give a child access to high school education.

Bangladesh has a commitment to primary health care, but health provision remains woefully inadequate, particularly in rural areas. Health provision remains urban biased but there is also a general bias against the poor in both rural and urban areas. Government health services in Bangladesh are highly under-utilized. Although virtually free of charge in theory, only one quarter of patients use public facilities. The majority, including low income groups, use private facilities.

In the light of need of rural poor disadvantaged people CFB undertakes “Primary Health Care Support and Nutrition”

Project for their sake.

Objective:

To provide primary health care support in program coverage area with a view to providing healthcare services to the marginalized people who don't have any access to the govt. healthcare services.

Preventive and curative health services through free medical campaign and distribution of free medicine

Amongst the poor for the remotest areas and vulnerable group.

Undertake programs on family life education for promoting responsible parenthood and respect for procreation.

Increase awareness on the benefit of family planning activities among the illiterate people to prevent very rapid population growth.

CF arranges free medical campaign in different places where normal medicine are distributed among the poor marginalized community of urban and village.

CFB has launched Ambulance Service for the poor village people. As a result, the poor people of the working area is getting 24 hours emergency Ambulance Service with the cheapest cost. Besides, CFB has started live blood bank of 100 members named “Change Foundation Live Blood Bank.” If any member of the blood bank donates blood to any patient, CFB gives him a handsome amount of money for good foods and fruits in order that he / she can regain their physical strength and fitness very soon.

Environment Resilient Program

Climate change is one of the major challenges of our time and adds considerable stress to our societies and To the environment. One of the great reasons behind it is Global warming due to the continuous deforestation as well as industrialization. From shifting weather patterns that threaten food production, to rising sea levels that increase the risk of catastrophic flooding. Without drastic action today, impacts in the future will be more difficult and costly.

The Change Foundation adopted a program of tree plantation to use ecosystem services to build natural resilience against the impacts of climate change. Under this program 20,000 of different fruits and medicinal Tree are supposed to be planted each year.

Emergency Relief Program 2013-2017:

Change Foundation expands its hand to the victims of any natural disaster like flood, cyclone, extreme cold and so on with food, water, cloths as well as builds shelter for them Everybody knows that the devastating flood of this year, 2017 has broken all the records of the past. People terribly suffer from the flood. Change Foundation takes initiatives to distribute relief goods among the people of the affected area of its working area alongside The Government of Bangladesh.

Renowned Teachers’ & Meritorious Students ’ Reception -2014

Change Foundation organized “Renowned Teachers’& Meritorious Students’ Reception-2014 “in the Pundary Alim Madrasah prim ices on the 1st January, 2014. On the function, Md. Amzad Hossain, ex-principal of Kolom Degree College was in the chair. The Manager of UCB Bank, Natore branch and Area Manager of Robi Exieta Ltd. Natore presented as the chief guests.11 respectable retired teachers of Kolom High School were awarded honorary crest for their contribution to nation as the architect of nation as well. CFB also gave reception to 2 brilliant students and handed over crest for acquiring Golden GPA, one in the JSC and one in the SSC exams 2o1. Besides, CFB distributed warm clothes among the poor suffering from biting cold. And huge amount of educational materials sponsored by Robi Exieta Ltd.& CFB were distributed amongst 500 students of class one to ten of different educational institutions of the locality. 21 copies of The Holy Quran sponsored by ATN Bangla Channel were distributed among 21 students of Quran Shikkha Karjokrom run by CFB either. On The occasion, people of all ages presented to succeed the program.
