The Change Center is placed in the heart of the West End Community and conveniently located to serve those in need.
Through Church of Philadelphia Center of Christian Discipleship & Global Missions and the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, The Change Center offers emergency food assistance to the residents of the West End community. One the third Wednesday of each month, residents are able to come for food staples to supplement their monthly needs.
As "Partners in Health and Wellness" (PHW), we pledge to:
*Promote faith, health, and social justice from the pulpit in sermons or other parts of regular service
*Support a social and cultural environment that promotes healthy choices and access to healthy choices in congregational and community activities/events
*Motivate congregants and community to take steps to improve their healthy, by taking personal steps to improve or maintain health and wholeness
