Bringing Resources Closer to Families

Change for FiveHundred uses events and partnerships to connect families with resources in accessible community settings.

Our work can include backpack and school-supply distributions, holiday giving, family-resource events, housing-resource events, community wellness activities, clothing and essential-item drives, youth activities and community information/referrals.

One-time events are described as events rather than permanent services.

Current Event

The First Annual Holiday Toy Giveaway is planned for December 19, 2026, 11:00 AM–4:00 PM at Shields-Reid Community Center in North Richmond.
