Dr. Chang-Wei (Wade) Cheng successfully completed his Ph.D. in the Department of Physics at National Tsing Hua University in 2022. Throughout his doctoral studies, he demonstrated outstanding academic performance and was honored with the President's Scholarship. In addition, his exceptional achievements led to his induction into the Phi Tau Phi Honor Society in 2015. Dr. Cheng's research contributions have been widely recognized, as evidenced by his receipt of the Outstanding Paper Awards at both the PSROC (Physical Society of the Republic of China) conference in 2017 and the SPP8 (Surface Plasmon Photonics 8th) international conference in 2018.
Currently, Dr. Cheng holds the position of postdoctoral researcher within Prof. Gwo's group. His research interests encompass various domains, including the epitaxial growth of metal films, nano-optics, topological photonics, and plasmonics.
