The home stay is an attached house with an independent staircase entry so that you have full privacy. There is no shared space except the garden area.

It has the following arrangement -

• One sitting room Cum dining room

• One bedroom with one king size bed

• One bathroom along with a dressing room

• Two balconies

• One extra single bed is available in the living room which can be accessed by a third person at some additional cost.

• One kitchen along with some basic utensils, a gas stove with lpg cylinder, an electric kettle, mixer grinder, refrigerator and a microwave oven along with a tea kit is provided

• A basic toilet Kit will also be provided

• Free WiFi, free parking on premises is available.

• There is a automatic washing machine which is exclusively there for our guests which is kept at a laundry room located on the ground floor of the property.

• Guest can also have access to the garden area where you can take a walk.

• The property is located in a secured compound and is under CCTV surveillance.

Food -

Guests can cook their own food in the kitchen. A gas stove is provided along with an LPG cylinder, some basic cooking pans and a pressure cooker. However an additional cost of Rs. 100/- per day is to be paid for using the gas stove. There is a cook-cum house help who can cook the food for you. However that will be chargeable and you have to inform us well in advance.

Guests can order food from outside (delivery apps such as Zomato/Swiggy available)

We can also provide home cooked food which will be chargeable. However information must be provided atleast a day before.

Guest access

Guests can have access to the garden area of the compound and take a walk. Migratory Asian open billed stork birds are a seasonal sighting (April to November) on our garden tree and is a landmark of the Jorhat Town. One can interact with my family members to get a vibe of the tea industry of Assam

We can also arrange visit to our Tea Garden and Factory, provided somebody is available to guide you and at some additional cost.
