Brief Bio-Data
Chandrashekhar Lakavath is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Civil Engineering Department at McGill University. He was a Fulbright-Nehru Research Fellow and a Prime Minister's Research Fellow (ID: 2000825) in the Structural Engineering Division of the Civil Engineering Department at IIT Hyderabad. He earned his Master's degree in Structural Engineering from the Applied Mechanics Department at S.V. National Institute of Technology, Surat, India, in 2018. He completed his Bachelor of Technology at JNTUH College of Engineering Manthani, Telangana, India, in 2015.
Following his undergraduate studies, he worked as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Patil Rail Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, for a year. This experience sparked his interest in railway sleeper research, shaping his academic and professional pursuits.
