Hi, I am Dr. Chandra Kant Upadhyay, currently working as an Assistant Professor at Symbiosis International University, Pune, India, Previous to this Post-Doctoral Research Associate at, the Supply Chain Management Centre, at the Indian Institute of Bangalore (IIMB) working at the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India- Project. I am an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Management Studies, DoE at Manipal University Jaipur, India. Before joining Ph.D., I have 4 years of experience in the INDO-RCUK Bridging Urban and Rural Divide project at IIIT Allahabad collaborated with the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. I holds MBA in Software Enterprise Management from C-DAC (Ministry of Electronics & IT) and Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from GZSCET Campus, Punjab. Also worked as a Business Analyst in an IT industry. On the research front, my interests area Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, E-commerce, Sharing Economy, Crowdsourcing, Rural Development, Sustainability and Entrepreneurship. I have several research papers published in reputed journal Taylor and Francis, Springer, Elsevier, and presented research work at various international conferences including IIT Bombay, IIM Lucknow, IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee.
