To Control the temperature of exothermic reaction in jacketed CSTR using water as coolant
To Optimize the reaction parameters to maximize yield
Approach
Designed a model in COMSOL to simulate the physical model to calibrate and troubleshoot
Applied Mathematical modelling to design the MATLAB model and applied controllers on it
Results
Used this system to increase stability and control actions in PDC LAB
Decreased the energy consumption implementing this model
Comparative study of PID and Model Predictive controller on double pipe heat exchanger
Controlled the temperature of tube side fluid of double pipe heat exchanger with PID, MPC controllers
Managed to reduce error by 5% by replacing resistance-based temperature sensor with voltage-based sensor
Increased the efficiency of heat exchanger in terms of stability and response by implementing MPC controller
Used COMSOL Multiphysics and ANSYS to design the Geometry of actual shell and tube Heat Exchanger
User Controlled Automatic Immersion Rod
Developed an immersion rod with temperature controller that can be considered as product
Embedded the LM35 temperature controller in traditional Immersion rod with minor deformation in shape
Optimized the size of the temperature controller unit by using ARDUINO Nano at the place of UNO and LM35 sensor
