Welcome to my Computer Networks Course Portfolio. I, Chandni Kumari, bearing SRN- 02FE22BCS026, am currently studying in the 5th semester of 2024 in the School of Computer Engineering (SoCE) at KLE Technological University. This portfolio is designed to showcase my technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and passion for continuous learning in the domain of computer networking. It highlights my foundational knowledge, practical skills, and determination to address real-world challenges with innovative solutions.
Focusing on computer networking, this portfolio features a variety of problems that illustrate my understanding of network architectures, protocols, and configurations. These problems have allowed me to gain hands-on experience in designing and managing networks, configuring routers and switches, and implementing key network protocols. A significant highlight is my work with Cisco Packet Tracer, where I created and simulated network topologies, configured devices, and applied static routing to ensure seamless communication across different network segments. These simulations provided valuable insights into fundamental networking concepts like IP addressing, subnetting, and routing protocols.
Moreover, my networking portfolio include practical implementations of application layer protocols such as DHCP, DNS, SMTP, and HTTP, which have deepened my understanding of how these protocols enable communication and data exchange across networks. Through these experiences, I have built a strong foundation in computer networking, equipping me with the ability to design, troubleshoot, and optimize network systems—an essential skill in today's interconnected world.
