Campbell is a Junior Media Journalism and Film major and an aspiring writer-director. This year, Campbell is looking forward to directing his first short film with the help of Noelle Imgs LLC and learning more about how to build fully fleshed-out worlds in his screenwriting. 

Our Externship Program offers high school students a unique opportunity to explore the film industry through hands-on experience and personalized mentorship. Designed for aspiring writers, directors, and cinematographers, the program pairs students with mentors for one-on-one guidance, helping them build strong resumes and creative portfolios. At the conclusion of the program, 1–2 participants will be chosen to intern on a collegiate-level film set in the fall.

“I created this program because I so desperately needed it when I attended POLYTECH. I applied to Howard University as a psychology major because I thought that all the world of television had to offer was broadcast news. Breaking into the film industry is not impossible, and making a career of your filmmaking passion does not just have to be a dream. Breaking barriers means nothing if we do not hold the door open for those who will come behind us. My mission is to give students the very opportunities I once thought were out of reach. If you want to make it happen, you absolutely can, and I’m here to help you do it.”

We’re excited to share that Noelle Imgs LLC is 1 of 100 ventures selected for Pharrell Williams’ @blackambitionprize So Ambitious HBCU Pre-Accelerator, a national 8-week program created to support the next generation of founders from Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Built at Howard University and grounded in purpose, Noelle Imgs LLC is more than a film production company; it’s a mission-driven studio. We champion bold, commercially viable stories from underrepresented voices while creating access points for emerging filmmakers through hands-on training, full-service production, and an inclusive talent pipeline.

This milestone is a reminder that reimagining access and leading with intention is the future of film.
