Chandler Noelle Robinson is a cinematographer, director, writer, producer, and activist. Her work has been featured on The Washington Post, MSNBC, ABC 7, Glasshouse Radio/ WHUR-fm, ESPN, and more. Chandler currently attends Howard University, where she is a senior in the Cathy Hughes School of Communications.
Chandler is the founder and CEO of Noelle Imgs LLC. A production company founded on “Celebrating creative vision.” Noelle Imgs’ first experimental film, Icarus, “following the journey of black women post-election,” was accepted into the Lift Off Global film festival. Their most recent project, Cain & Lilith, was completed in May. Early reviews label it visually compelling and an emotional rollercoaster.
Cain & Lilith was Chandler’s first script, first time directing, and first time executive producing. “I am so grateful to have been able to make this dream of mine a reality with my amazing crew. This is not just my film, it belongs to my crew and our donors as well. I hope you enjoy.”
As Chandler completes her Television and Film degree in December of 2025, she looks forward to setting new expectations of black female cinematographers and continuing the legacy of her alumni by creating astounding visuals that deeply resonate with audiences.
Over seven intense weeks, Chandler went from idea conception to completing a pilot script, treatment, series synopsis, and pitch deck as a member of the HBCU in LA Inaugural Writers Fellowship. At the program's end, she had the privilege of pitching her first-ever episodic comedy script at CAA, surrounded by industry giants "whose feedback and encouragement fueled my passion and dedication."
"As a girl from Delaware, this experience exceeded anything I could have imagined, and I am forever grateful."
"To my support system and industry mentors; Your belief in me inspires my commitment to paying it forward and creating opportunities for others." - Chandler N. Robinson
Over the summer Chandler worked with the NAACP Hollywood Bureau and FrontPage PR in Los Angeles, California. She is thankful for the knowledge, experience, and exposure she gained while working for these companies and could not be more thankful for the opportunity to do what she loves.
