I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, School of Advanced Sciences at the Vellor Institute of Technology (VIT) - Andhra Pradesh (AP), India. Chandan Kumar Thakur obtained his Masters in Mathematics from the Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi and his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad (Research Supervisor Prof. (Dr.) Mirtunjay Kr. Singh).

My research interests concern with the transport processes inside a porous medium, analysis of linear and nonlinear Advcetion-Dispersion (ADEs) and homogenization theory. Transport processes in a porous medium have been extensively studied by mathematician, hydrologist, geologist.
