Chance White Eyes

Chance White Eyes is a Researcher, Public Speaker and Inaugural Director of Tribal Relations.  Chance White Eyes is a member of the Oneida Tribe.  White Eyes is respected throughout the academic community and Tribal Nations for his active engagement in Indigenous research methodologies and centralized focus on researching Indigenous student success in post-secondary education.


Education & Academic Training 

Chance White Eyes is an extensively trained academic professional and educator.  He maintains a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, as well as a Doctorate degree in Critical and Socio-Cultural Studies in Education.  White Eyes’s research focuses on the Indigenous community’s experience in education; particularly success in post-secondary education.  An active learner, this Researcher and Speaker always seeks out opportunities to learn something new.  In fact, that’s a core part of his career’s work!  Working in a field steeped in learning opportunities is something that White Eyes deeply values and appreciates.  White Eyes is privileged by the  opportunity to teach others and to make a positive impact on the community.



Career in Education

Chance White Eyes is a current Inaugural Director of Tribal Relations.  Beyond his roles as a Public Speaker and Academic Researcher, Chance White Eyes takes on the role of an Educational Consultant in the Eugene, Oregon area.  Drawing on nearly two decades of experience in critical and socio-cultural studies, he seeks to make a positive impact by connecting with various academic institutions.  White Eyes is available for public speaking engagements focused on Educational Policy, Tribal Relations and Indigenous research methodologies.
