About us:
Stand Up India Foundation is a Non-Government Organisation committed to improving the lives of underprivileged, marginalized, and downtrodden communities in rural and urban Karnataka. It is an issue-based, strategic educational support organization working with people’s collectives, NGOs and local governance, and the government. Collaborative research, public education, advocacy, direct field level mobilization, and implementation with multiple stakeholders are the key instruments of our work.
Vision: To create a sustainable society where all the stakeholders particularly the vulnerable participate with full empowerment and gain equal access and control over services, resources, and institutions.
Mission: To empower and strengthen the social services, resources, and institutions, so that the vulnerable sections of society particularly the children, women, farmers, youth, Dalits, and tribals are empowered to effectively and decisively participate in mainstream development.

On the 28th of June 2023, a momentous occasion took place as the StandUp India Foundation inaugurated our new office. The atmosphere was brimming with excitement and anticipation as distinguished guests, children, and community leaders gathered to witness the momentous event. The office, a symbol of the Foundation's commitment to empowering marginalised communities, stood as a beacon of hope and progress.
With its state-of-the-art infrastructure and innovative facilities, the StandUp India Foundation office embodied the organisation’s vision to create a sustainable society where all the stakeholders particularly the vulnerable participate with full empowerment and gain equal access and control over services, resources, and institutions.
The event concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and determination to work tirelessly toward the Foundation's mission of fostering a more equitable and prosperous society
Activities
World Environment Day Celebration at Standup India Foundation
To mark this day, we have organised a session and activities to engage our community and spread awareness about environmental conservation. Throughout the day, with the support of Rotary Palmville, we conducted an awareness campaign focusing on the importance of sustainable practices, by gathering children and community members through interactive sessions to educate individuals about reducing waste, conserving energy, and promoting eco-friendly lifestyles.
By celebrating World Environment Day at Rotary Palmville & Standup India Foundation, we aim to foster a sense of responsibility and commitment towards environmental preservation. Our collective efforts will contribute to the global movement for a greener, more sustainable planet.
Activities outside the foundation
On November 24th, 2023, a collaborative effort between Team Myntra, iVolunteer, and StandUp India Foundation brought forth an engaging and informative activity session on "Money Safe" at the Myntra Head Office. The primary objective was to create awareness about safe banking practices and enhance financial literacy, specifically targeting the community of women.
The collaborative initiative between Myntra, iVolunteer, and StandUp India Foundation demonstrated a commitment to social responsibility by empowering women with essential financial knowledge. By fostering a deeper understanding of financial literacy and promoting safe banking practices, the activity aimed to contribute positively to the well-being and economic independence of the community women, and they had an opportunity to explore the Myntra Office.
On September 8, 2023, in partnership with iVolunteer and with enthusiastic support from Myntra employees, we organised a heartwarming school painting event at Government Lower Primary School in Doddakannelli. The goal was to transform the school into a more vibrant and inspiring space for students. Myntra employees worked diligently, using their paintbrushes to decorate the school walls with colourful, imaginative pictures, creating an engaging environment for young learners.
This school painting activity serves as a beautiful example of how a small act of kindness and collective effort can create a lasting impact on the lives of the less fortunate. It is a reminder that, with the support of passionate individuals and organisations, we can make the world a brighter and better place, one brushstroke at a time.
For World Earth Day, people all around the world take various initiatives to help protect the environment. On 28th April SolarWinds India & StandUp India Foundation celebrated World Earth Day by planting trees at Iblur Lake, it is a beautiful lake located in the heart of Bangalore, but over the years, it has been facing the problem of pollution and encroachment.
The aim of the drive was to plant as many trees as possible to help reduce pollution and increase the green cover in the area. The SolarWinds India Employees planted a variety of trees, including Neem, Sampige, and Cherry Blossom.
The initiative not only helped to beautify the area but also contributed to making the environment cleaner and greener. SolarWinds India Employees have set a great example for others to follow.
