Welcome to Timekeeping. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle data when you use the app.

By using the app you agree to the terms described in this policy.

2. Data we DO NOT collect

Timekeeping is designed with privacy in mind. We DO NOT collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information to our servers or third parties. All your data is stored locally on your device.

3. Data stored on your device

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

  •Timekeeping entries: dates, working hours, overtime, leave days, etc.

  •Settings: chosen salary method, rates, allowances, currency, etc.

This data is under your control and only you can access it unless you choose to share or back it up.

4. App permissions

To provide features, the app may request the following permission:

  •Storage access: required for Backup & Restore. We only access files or folders you explicitly choose. We do not scan other files on your device.

5. Backup & Restore

You control your backups. When you use the "Backup" feature the app creates a data file and lets you save it to device storage or share it via other apps (e.g., Google Drive, email). The app does not automatically send data anywhere without your action.

6. Data safety

Because all data is stored locally, securing your device (PIN, fingerprint, etc.) also protects the app data. We are not responsible for data loss due to lost devices or user actions that delete data.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy over time. Changes will be posted in the app. Please review this policy periodically; changes take effect when posted.
