Challenges in AI Ethics
There is no doubt that AI is becoming more and more popular and important in our daily life. But it also brings about a variety of practical difficulties for us. Indeed, Geoffrey Hinton and John Hopfield, winners of the 2024 Nobel Prize in Physics, warn that AI can be dangerous for humanity and the world.
Given this, The Humanistic AI Center at National Central University (Taiwan) plans to hold an international conference to conduct a comprehensive, professional, and multidisciplinary inquiry into AI ethics. We will invite keynote speakers as follow:
Bertram F. Malle Colin Allen
Jee Loo Liu Yiftach Fehige
Focusing on three major topics as below:
· AI ethics and education
· AI ethics and law
· AI ethics and medicine
We especially hope this conference can promote the dialogue between academic communities from the East and the West in the areas of AI ethics.
