Hello - My name is Jordan & I am a public school music teacher who loves food! Even though teaching is my true passion, I also love the art of food, helping others & building our community. Food is something that we can use to communicate & share similarities across different cultures. Since I was a kid, food has always taken a spotlight in my household. Whether it was watching my father cook authentic meals in our kitchen or helping my grandma bake her famous cakes; we always found an opportunity to create & celebrate food. Since becoming an educator, I have always wanted to marry all of these ideas together but I did not know how. With some help from my family & friends, I created CHALKBOARD.

Chalkboard is a company that was created to help bring the joy of food to others in our community and to help provide materials for students who attend public schools. For every purchase that is made through Chalkboard, we donate a percentage of the proceeds to public schools in the Clark County School District (CCSD) located in Las Vegas, Nevada. More specifically, we are trying to raise money for students who are enrolled in art & music programs. As you may or may not know, art & music programs are being cut nationwide at a rapid rate. Unfortunately, our public schools are a central target for these budget cuts. With your support, you can help save these programs and keep them alive!
