Ujjayant Chakravorty

I am a professor of economics at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. My area of research and teaching is resource and environmental economics. My current projects focus on water depletion from access to highways, energy use by the poor in rural India and long term impacts of electrification. I am affiliated with the Harvard Environmental Economics Program at the Kennedy School, the Center for International Environment and Resource Policy (CIERP) at the Fletcher School, the Environmental Studies program at Tufts, CESifo Munich and Renmin University in Beijing, China.
