Research experience: Strategic syntheses of noble metal (Ag, Cu or Pd) based binary/ternary metal oxide or 2D-metal sulfide nanocomposites (both in the form of nanoparticle and thin film) to explore their catalytic properties towards electrochemical or fluorescence biosensing and energy applications such as ORR, OER, HER and solar photovoltaic. Layer-by-layer thin film nanocomposite deposition technique was established by ‘Galvanic’ method and thereby investigating electrochemical applications.
Current Working Area: Morphologically tuned ternary metal chalcogenides for electrochemical/ photochemical energy applications and organic conversion reaction to obtain useful product.
