About me
Chaidul Haque Chaudhuri is currently working as an institute Post-Doctoral fellow in the Civil Dept. at IIT Bombay. Recently, he received the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship (commonly known as the Marie-Curie Fellowship) from the European Union. He completed his Ph.D. from IIT Bombay in the Geotechnical Engineering division of Civil Engineering department under the supervision of Prof. Deepankar Choudhury at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India. His current research area is on onshore-buried pipelines. He proposed various semi-analytical and analytical closed-form solutions for buried pipelines subjected to permanent ground deformation (PGD), seismic landslide, pipe bursting induced ground deformation, blast loads, heavy traffic loads, etc. He completed his M.Tech as an institute Gold Medalist in 2018 and B.Tech as a 2nd Institute rank holder in 2016 from National Institute of Technology Agartala, India. During his schooling, he got several state and district level awards. The project work during his B.Tech was on the effect of bacteria on cement composites through an experimental study and the research topic during his M.Tech was on seismic behaviour of asymmetric piled-raft supported structural system using finite element (FEM) based program Abaqus/CAE. Till date, he published his research works in 9 international reputed journals, 3 international conferences, 3 national conferences and 3 book chapters. He is an active reviewer of different ASCE, ICE, Springer and Elsevier journals. He associated with different consultancy projects and also assigned as a teaching assistant for various PG courses (details are given in the below attached link of CV).
