About Summer Reading 2022

This page will serve as an instructional page to help ease the transitions and help make sure things run smoothly. Below are some things to take note of.

  • Summer Reading will be in person this year.

  • The age groups for Summer Reading are 6months-2 years, 3-5 years, K-2nd grade, 3-4th grade, 5-7th grade, and 8-12th grade.

  • On this website, at the top, there is a page titled "Registration/Readerzone". Please be sure to visit that page and register before participating. We still want to keep track of those who participate and we do still have some really great prizes for those that participate!

  • We will be using Reader Zone as a way to keep track of reading this summer and using reading logs. We will have physical reading logs available this year for those who do not wish to use the Readerzone website. If you are not familiar with this website/app please visit the page titled "Reader Zone" on this website.

  • We will have a big "kickoff" party. Since things are getting back into the swing of things, we are excited to be having the kick of part returning this year

  • We will have t-shirts for the first 50 participants that sign up during pre-registration. The library should have t-shirts available at the kick off party.

  • Summer Reading 2022 will officially start on June 6th and end on July 16th. All books/minutes/pages read during this time count, and must be tracked in the app and or reading logs in order for them to count towards prizes.
