His signature material is sinker cypress, a rare, historic wood reclaimed from centuries-old riverbeds — each slab he works with comes with its own story and patina.

Chad blends traditional woodworking techniques with modern precision to create one‑of‑a‑kind pieces that are both functional and sculptural. He sources logs himself from the Gulf Coast region, rehabilitates and seasons them meticulously over years, and hand‑crafts each piece with tools and finishes that highlight the wood’s natural character.
