We are an organization at Chabot College whose purpose is to inspire the next generation of teachers. We offer academic and social support to future teachers—holding general and regular weekly meetings, hosting socials, sharing resources and stories, and creating an overall network of support.  We believe in doing community outreach that builds bridges between different ages and groups of people for mentoring, role modeling, and sharing a dream of higher education. Our complex world needs more socially conscious educators, who we hope to foster in CATE.
