Journal Support Fund

The aim of the Journal Support Fund is to help the postgraduate students of UiTM to pay the publication fees and provide the opportunity for them to publish their research work in indexed journals. It is hoped that by continuously publishing in indexed and high quality journals, postgraduate students of UiTM can excel.

Terms Of Application

1. Active students who are still within their period of study.

2. Students who are studying full-time as follows:

a) Master by Research students

b) Doctoral students by Coursework, Mixed Mode or Research

3. Students who are not in receipt of any other financial assistance, except MyMaster and MyPhD (subject to the MyPhD being with no subsistence allowance).

4. Students who are in receipt of financial assistance in the form of educational loans (for example: PTPTN, MARA loans, etc.).

5. Public and private sector employees who are on full pay study leave are not eligible.

6. The support fund is only for publication fees and proofreading services for publication in indexed journals (SCOPUS/ WOS/ERA).

Amount

The maximum amount that the Journal Support Fund will reimburse for a single article is RM1500.

How to apply

The application form can be downloaded from IPSis website. The application form should be supported by documents as the following:

• Journal brochure/Information

• Acceptance letter from the journal publisher

• Proof of journals indexing

• Paper ready for publication

Funding

The Journal Support Fund is granted on a reimbursement basis upon receipt of the documents specified below:

• Original copy of relevant receipts;

• A copy of Approval Letter from IPSis

Students are expected to submit a Journal Report Form within 14 days of publication.

Expectation

The Journal Support Fund, UiTM should be acknowledged in the article published.
